Referrals allow your list members to invite their friends to join your list. You can also track how many friends were referred by list members.
To create a referral form login into ListManager™. On the left hand side of screen select “Utilities-Web Forms-Referral Forms.”
On the screen for “Referal Form” choose “Create From Template” on the top right.
On the screen for “Referral Form From Template” choose a template from the drop down menu.
On the screen for “New Referral Form” give your form a title, description and choose a list. You can click on “Preview” to see what your form will look like. Once you are ready you can then click “Save.” You can copy the HTML code for pasting on your website.
Referral forms can be emailed from a text link from within your mailing. To create a “Refer a Friend” hyperlink do the following. Place your curser where you would like the link to appear. Click on “Insert URL”.
On the “Insert URL” screen, choose the tab “Referral”, add some text for “Clickable text”. Select the “Refer a Friend template you previously made and click on “Insert” on the lower right.
After you have clicked on “Insert” you will then be taken back to the “Edit Content” screen where you will now see your new refer a friend link in your mailing.
